Regional Historical Museum Stara Zagora

The museum holds over 150,000 exhibits documenting the history of the Stara Zagora region — one of the oldest inhabited areas in Europe. Neolithic dwellings from the 6th millennium BC are among the most prized finds. Founded in 1907, it is one of the country's leading regional museums.
