FC "St. George the Victorious 1999"

FC "St. George the Victorious 1999." was registered in the fall of 1999 to meet the spiritual, cultural, educational, creative and informational needs of society. Its main functions are to preserve the customs and traditions of the Bulgarian people; to develop and enrich the cultural life, the knowledge of young people and their inclusion in the primitive values ​​and achievements of science, art and culture. With this activity, it educates and affirms national self-awareness in society, its creative possibilities and talents. Collects, preserves and disseminates knowledge about Bulgarian traditional culture, history, ethnography and folklore. Creates conditions for the participation of young people in various cultural, educational and creative events at home and abroad. Develops and affirms spiritual values ​​in civil society. It supports social integration and personal fulfillment in society. The Community Center is the recipient of the recognition "AWAKENER 2016" FROM THE GREATER MUNICIPALITY OF STOLIC for significant public and professional contribution with an awakening spirit. The award was presented at a special ceremony in the hall of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". The organizer of the prestigious event is the Municipality of Sofia and the Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation in Non-Formal Education (CIINO) - Faculty of Pedagogy of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".
