National Natural History Museum

The oldest and largest natural history museum in the Balkans, founded in 1889 by Prince Ferdinand. The collection includes over 1,000,000 specimens — taxidermied animals, insects, minerals, and fossils. Located in central Sofia on Tsar Osvoboditel Street.
