Museum of the History of Medicine

The Museum of the History of Medicine in the city of Varna is a unique idea and the only one for the entire Balkan Peninsula. It is housed in a building that is the first donor hospital in our lands, built in 1869 with funds from the will of Varna merchant Paraskeva Nikolaou. It has been declared a cultural monument of national importance. Entrance is free! Working hours: November - April Monday - Friday: 09:00 - 5:00 p.m., weekends: Saturday and Sunday May - October Monday - Friday: 09:00 - 7:00 p.m., Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 18:30, day off: Sunday Lunch break: from 14:00 to 14:30. (Saturday only)
