Opening of the 29th edition of the Varna International Ballet Competition — the oldest and most prestigious ballet competition in the world, founded in 1964. The competition returns with a new look and feel after a four-year hiatus. International Summer Ballet Academy July 15-30.

The Palace of Culture and Sports - Varna (DKS) is the largest multifunctional hall in Northern Bulgaria with a capacity of up to 10,000 seats. Built in 1968 on Primorski Boulevard, the complex hosts international concerts, sporting events, show performances, and corporate events. World stars such as Placido Domingo, Dire Straits Experience, Lord of the Dance, and many others have performed here. DKS is a symbol of the cultural life of Varna and an iconic building in the architectural landscape of the city.
