Valeri Tsenov with his ninth solo exhibition at the Largo Gallery in Varna

About this event

On 29.10.2026 at 18:30 Largo gallery will present the solo painting exhibition of the well-established Plovdiv painter Valeri Tsenov. The exhibition, entitled "Inner Horizon", is the artist's ninth solo appearance at the Largo Gallery and presents over 30 poetic canvases created especially for the Varna audience. The exhibition brings together works from several painting cycles, including the emblematic "Ancient Seas" and "Sea Legends". The predominant marine theme unfolds beyond the traditional landscape image, taking the viewer to imaginary worlds in which mythology and symbolism intertwine. The spaces in his paintings do not belong to specific geographical locations. They are the fruit of the author's emotional memory and fantasy, combining landscapes, images and motifs referring to antiquity. Thus, the pictorial compositions become a kind of symbolic maps of memory and imagination, in which the ancient and the modern, the real and the fantastic coexist. "Inner Horizon" is an invitation to travel beyond the visible - to the world of glimpses, collective memory and personal empathy. The exhibition reveals Valeri Tsenov's painting as a meeting space between image and symbol, between ancient stories and modern worldview, between the creative intention of the artist and the free interpretation of the viewer. Somewhere between the layers superimposed on the picture, there are invisible messages, and each of us has the opportunity to discover our own meanings, to continue the visual narrative and complete the myth or legend. We are waiting for you at the opening of the exhibition with the participation of the author on October 29, 2026 at 18:30 at the Largo Gallery, 8 Han Krum Street, Varna.
