Co-production with Parma OperArt Spanish soprano with a worldwide career Saioa Hernández will appear on the stage of the Summer Theater together with the Italian tenor Vincenzo Costanzo in Puccini's masterpiece. Both singers are winners of "Opera Oscars". Hernández has been described by critics as an "impressive voice with an imperial presence" and is among the most sought-after performers in the world's leading theaters and orchestras, including La Scala, Covent Garden, Vienna State Opera, Paris Opera, Berlin State Opera. Vincenzo Costanzo is among the most highly regarded performers of the new generation of tenors on the international opera scene and in February 2026 he participated in the spectacular closing performance of the Winter Olympic Games. The role of Liu will be played by the world-renowned Serbian soprano Maria Jelic. The voices of the distinguished singers will unfold in the score of Turandot, which occupies a central place in Puccini's work and is known for its large-scale orchestral palette and strong dramatic conflict. Turandot is the last opera of the delightful Puccini. The lyrical drama in 3 acts is based on Carlo Gozzi's play of the same name. The opera, at the behest of Puccini himself, was completed after his death by his student Franco Alfano. The emblematic "Nessun dorma", performed by Calaf, is one of the most colorful and affecting arias in the history of opera.

The Palace of Culture and Sports - Varna (DKS) is the largest multifunctional hall in Northern Bulgaria with a capacity of up to 10,000 seats. Built in 1968 on Primorski Boulevard, the complex hosts international concerts, sporting events, show performances, and corporate events. World stars such as Placido Domingo, Dire Straits Experience, Lord of the Dance, and many others have performed here. DKS is a symbol of the cultural life of Varna and an iconic building in the architectural landscape of the city.
