"The Lion King"
About this event
One of the most beloved titles of the Varna Opera, "The Lion King" transports audiences of all ages to the African savanna with the music of Elton John and Hans Zimmer in the stage designs of director Petko Bonev. In Anna Pampulova's sculpture, each role corresponds to the movements of the animal that the performer recreates. The fascinating story of the lion cub Simba, who goes through dangers and adventures to become the mighty king of animals, unfolds on stage in a lot of color, dance and intriguing musical performances.
