„Rigoletto“
About this event
Giuseppe Verdi's opera „Rigoletto“ is a masterpiece of Italian operatic art, inspired by Victor Hugo's play „Le roi s'amuse“. The work explores the eternal themes of power, deception, paternal love and human destiny, occupying an important place in Verdi's „popular“ trilogy, alongside „La Traviata“ and „Il Trovatore“. Under the baton of Svetoslav Borisov, the music comes alive with tension and emotional depth, while director Srebrina Sokolova builds a stage concept that emphasises the psychological complexity of the characters. The soloists Aleksandrina Mihaylova, Reynaldo Droz and Plamen Dimitrov turn their roles into an unforgettable experience, drawing the audience into the magic of this operatic masterpiece with vocal mastery and stage presence.
