"Carnival" PREMIERE

About this event

A kidnapping. An impossible ultimatum. And a crime that unfolds before everyone's eyes. Carnival by Jordi Galceran is a tense psychological thriller that combines the dynamics of criminal investigation with the power of classic drama. At the center of the story is the kidnapping of a child, which puts the police in a cruel game against time. The kidnapper dictates the rules, and what happens becomes a spectacle broadcast live on the Internet. With each subsequent step, the investigation becomes more unpredictable, and the line between truth and manipulation begins to blur. Who controls the game? Who is watching and who is participating? And how far can one go when faced with a choice with no right answer? "Carnival" is a story about good and evil, guilt and responsibility, fear and moral choice. A play about a world in which human tragedy can become a public spectacle, and the viewer inevitably becomes part of it. The Catalan playwright Jordi Galceran, known to the world audience with "The Grönholm Method", builds a dramaturgical labyrinth of tension, twists and moral dilemmas that keeps the audience in suspense until the very end.
