Regional History Museum - Ruse is pleased to invite all lovers of criminal literature and the history of the Ruse District to the presentation of Petar Kozhuharov's debut novel - "Crime by the Danube". The performance will take place on July 8, Wednesday, at 6:00 p.m. in the Ruse Hall of the History Museum. Born and raised in Rousse, the author weaves into his first book his love for the Danube city, turning it not just into a place of action, but into a living and integral participant in the plot. "Crime by the Danube" offers a fascinating contemporary crime story in which the atmosphere of Ruse and the rich cultural heritage of the region are intertwined with a tense police investigation. After a fire in one of the city's sports complexes, the body of a local sports figure was found. The investigation was entrusted to the experienced commissioner Deyan Shilov and his team. At first glance, the case seems easy to solve, but it gradually turns into a complex puzzle filled with unexpected twists and dangerous challenges. What was the victim doing in the burning building? Why couldn't she save herself? And how does an illegal archaeological find from four decades ago turn out to be connected to the events of the present? The plot takes the reader through different eras and to some of the most significant cultural sights in the Ruse region.
