THE MAGIC OF NEW YEAR'S DAY IN OUR VILLAGE!

People's community center "Svetlina-1905" and the children from the "Nikola Vaptsarov" United School will celebrate together one of the most beloved and magical Bulgarian holidays - Midsummer! Let's feel the power of nature together, weave health into the traditional wreath and charge ourselves with positive energy. When: 24 June 2026 (Wednesday) HOLIDAY PROGRAM: PART I: THE POWER OF HERBS 07:00 a.m. – morning departure from the center of the village to the field for picking medicinal herbs and flowers. Knitting the big New Year's wreath on the meadow and making aromatic, warm herbal tea from the picked herbs. PART II: FESTIVAL IN THE SQUARE 10:00 a.m. – Beginning of the festive program in the village square. Ritual passage under the wreath: Everyone will be able to pass under the magical wreath of herbs for health, strength and longevity during the year. Festive dances: The children of Ob. "Nikola Vaptsarov" school will fill us with mood and magic through their dance performances. Sharing the custom: We will taste together the magical and healing morning herbal tea. Put on white clothes or folk costumes and invite us to support our children, to preserve and pass on the Bulgarian folk traditions!
