"Ladies in Lavender"

A story of love, dreams and the inevitable blows of fate, based on the story "Ladies in Lavender" by the English writer William John Locke. In the mid-1930s, in the small English town of Cornwall, time has stood still. The sisters Janet and Ursula Widdington live quietly in their small house on the shore. Until one stormy night, when the sea casts a wounded shipwreck survivor onto their doorstep. The Widdington sisters, together with the local doctor, Doctor Mead, help him recover. And they grow attached to him. A mysterious artist arrives in Cornwall and discovers the young shipwreck survivor's exceptional talent as a violinist. The lives of the Widdington sisters will never be the same again. The performance is intimate and is played with the audience on the stage.
