Satirical Theater "Aleko Konstantinov" - Sofia Biting and insightful humor served with intelligent irony, witty, pistol dialogues are a trademark of the hugely popular, prolific and multi-awarded French screenwriter, playwright and director Eric Asus. "When I create my characters, I always try to show not what sets them apart from others, but what brings them closer to them," says the author and gives us a key to the construction of the characters in this play, which explores with an inevitable sense of humor the relationships between married couples. They are ordinary people, susceptible to temptation, tragicomic in the attempt to protect their weaknesses - too human to be judged for this: jealousy, rivalry, erosion of feelings, petty betrayals, awkward compromises with conscience. The note of suspense that the plot maintains until the end, the constant twists and turns in the course of the story and the gradation of emotions made the work process of our theater company fun and full of empathy. We hope to convey this philanthropic charge from the stage to a well-intentioned audience of connoisseurs of good comedy.
