The world-renowned opera prima donna Ermonela Jaho visits Varna for the first time with a special gala concert, whose program includes beloved opera excerpts from works by Puccini, Verdi and Cilea. Ermonela Jaho sings on the most significant opera stages in the world: Covent Garden in London, the Metropolitan in New York, La Scala in Milan, the Arena di Verona, the Vienna State Opera, the Teatro Real in Madrid. With her rich palette of leading soprano roles, she captivates with emotional interpretations and exceptional vocal technique. "The Independent" describes her as "the best Madame Butterfly London has seen in years", the New York Times writes "This soprano sings with the sound of the soul", and Australia's "Daily Telegraph" calls her "an unstoppable phenomenon". Ermonela Jaho is a member of the Albanian Academy of Sciences and supports numerous causes. In the concert titled "Voice and Violin", the singer will be partnered by the distinguished Albanian violinist Abigela Voshtina, who will perform works by John Williams, Beethoven and Bruch.
