BADMINTON CLUB "RACKET SPEED" IYC "Helios" – Primorsko Badminton club "Racket Speed" is organizing its Summer Sports Camp 2026 at the International Children's and Youth Centre "Helios" – Primorsko – one of the most established, safe and preferred bases for children's sports camps in Bulgaria. The camp was created as a comprehensive programme for the physical, psychological and social development of children, in a safe, supportive and motivating environment, away from the everyday pace and digital overload. DATES OF THE CAMP 3 August – 8 August 2026, 6 days / 5 nights. A minimal shift of the dates by ± 1–2 days is possible, depending on the organisation of the base. In the event of any change, all parents will be notified in good time. CAMP PHILOSOPHY The summer camp of BC "Racket Speed" is not just a holiday or a sports activity. It is an investment in the child's development – physical, emotional and social. Our main goals are: improving general physical fitness; building confidence and independence; developing social and communication skills; creating healthy habits and an active lifestyle; limiting screen time on electronic devices. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND MOVEMENT PROGRAMME Every day the children take part in 2–3 active movement and sports sessions, held at: the beach; the stadium; the complex's sports grounds. The emphasis is on: endurance; speed; coordination; strength and general physical condition. The sessions take the form of training, games, relays and group activities, tailored to the age and abilities of the children. PSYCHOLOGICAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT The camp environment creates natural conditions for: building self-discipline and responsibility; improving concentration; coping with challenges outside the "comfort zone"; boosting self-confidence. The children learn to trust, to make decisions and to be part of a group. SOCIALISATION AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS One of the most valuable aspects of the camp is the social environment: making new friendships; teamwork; respect for others; developing communication skills; adapting to different characters and situations. Our experience from all the camps held so far at IYC "Helios" – Primorsko shows that the children return more mature, more confident and more socially responsible. ACCOMMODATION Accommodation is at the "Helios" holiday base, set in a park with an area of over 20 decares. 4-bed rooms; air conditioning; private bathroom; balcony; a calm, green and guarded environment. MEALS breakfast, lunch and dinner served buffet-style; a varied and balanced menu; no limit on quantity; tailored to the needs of active children. MEDICAL CARE AND SECURITY a medical office with a medical professional on duty during the day; basic first-aid medicines; round-the-clock security across the territory of the complex. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: a medical note from a personal doctor; a declaration from a parent/guardian (using the club's template). The documents are to be provided before departure. ORGANISED TRANSPORT organised transport Sofia – Primorsko – Sofia; a licensed carrier; accompaniment by supervisors; the transport is part of the camp organisation. BEACH, SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT a guarded beach 250 m from the base; a designated zone for children; umbrellas and lifeguards; sports and relay games on the beach. Entertainment programme: "Helios" amusement park; climbing wall; archery; paintball (for children over 12); children's disco and music evenings; a campfire; film screenings; creative workshops and master classes.
