What happens after the war? When the woman is no longer a woman, the man is no longer a man, the child is no longer a child, and the surviving human being wanders between life and death, even though he can no longer call himself a human – a beast, a machine sowing destruction. The consequences of war become known in numbers and percentages, but what are the consequences for those who survive? Are love and humility possible once you have had the fate of returning from the battlefield? Is there life after the death you have lived through? Are forgiveness and redemption attainable? And has a human being returned, or a walking shell resembling a person?

The „Filial“ Stage is one of the most iconic cultural venues in Varna. It is part of the Theatre and Music Production Centre (TMPC) and is the second main stage of the „Stoyan Bachvarov“ Drama Theatre and the Varna State Opera. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the Clock Tower on „Nezavisimost“ Square No. 1.
