A performance about the extraordinary life of an extraordinary woman. Alma Schindler-Mahler-Gropius-Werfel - daughter of a painter and lover of the most famous and talented men of her time. The "Muse of Vienna" was an inspiration for the composer Gustav Mahler, the painter Gustav Klimt, the architect Walter Gropius, the painter Oskar Kokoschka, and the poet Franz Werfel. The performance by director Dejan Projkovski and playwright Sasho Dimoski presents fragments of Alma's life, told retrospectively. The muse woman and her reckoning: to inspire or to create; to be a faithful shadow or to shine with your own light; to be the woman beside the great artists, while paying the price of love with your own talent. The Stoyan Bachvarov Drama Theatre was founded in 1921 and is the oldest professional theatre in Varna. It has a Main Stage, Branch Stage, and Chamber Hall. The repertoire includes classic and contemporary plays, comedies, dramas, and children's performances. The theatre is named after the actor Stoyan Bachvarov and is a stage where generations of Bulgarian actors have performed.
