About this event

In Aleko's footsteps – a trek and traverse of Vitosha The only team mountain competition of its kind with a social cause, based on a true story and named „In Aleko's Footsteps”. The competition is historically based on the first ascent of Cherni Vrah, in 1889 by Aleko Konstantinov together with Nikola Tantilov. A team can include from 2 to 10 people. The race is part of the initiative „Sofia – European Capital of Sport”. Details can be found on the event's dedicated Facebook page.
