The universe of his pictorial world is subordinate to the light, passing through the wet matter and capturing the oval of the flesh or scattering into thousands of colored spots, delineating delicate forms or associating a cosmic explosion. Stefan Hadji - Nikolov knows how to transport us to different worlds. But wherever our imagination takes us, we are bound to be immersed in beauty. This year, Stefan Hadji-Nikolov decided to share his creativity with several art spaces in Bulgaria. His connoisseurs in Pazardzhik were able to enjoy this colorful extravaganza, in May, at Vasil Petrov's gallery in Pazardzhik. After Varna, he will present a collection of his works in Kyustendil, Veliko Tarnovo, and the tour will end in December, in Sofia, at the "Maestro" gallery. Stefan is one of the most famous artists in North Macedonia. He received all possible awards, including the national award "October 23" in 2015. But it is always important for him to measure up to the Bulgarian school of painting, which he highly values, as well as his colleagues from Bulgaria, many of whom he has won as friends. I am happy that he is a creator who keeps and cares for his biography, who does not rest on the laurels he has won, who experiments, searches, finds, who is not afraid to change and develop, to take the risk of conquering new audiences. The pleasure is ours! Vanya Markova - Art Marconi Gallery Stefan Hadji-Nikolov was born in 1955 in Skopje, North Macedonia. He graduated from the Academy for the Training of Painting Teachers in 1975 in Skopje. Member of the Union of Artists of Macedonia since 1984. He appreciates the Bulgarian painting school and does not miss the opportunity to present his exhibitions in Bulgaria /Sofia, Plovdiv and especially Varna/. For the last ten years, he has been an annual guest at the "Art Marconi" gallery. He is the recipient of over 15 prestigious, national and international awards. The most valuable recognition for him are: 2015 - National Award for Complete Creativity "October 23rd" and 2017 - Skopje Award "November 13th". Lives and works in Skopje, North Macedonia
