"Summer breeze" - Painting exhibition by Maria Raycheva

From June 19 until July 8, 2026, Largo Gallery will present a solo painting exhibition by Sofia-based artist Maria Raycheva. The exhibition, titled "Summer Breeze," marks the artist's first solo appearance at the gallery and features 23 paintings, most of which were created specifically for the Varna audience. Maria Raycheva is well-known for her landscapes, built with a bright, expressive color palette, thick brushstrokes, and rich layering on canvas. Strongly drawn to the beauty and uniqueness of nature, she recreates marine, mountain, and urban landscapes with equal inspiration. In this current exhibition, as a special gesture to the public in the maritime capital, the artist has chosen to focus primarily on seascapes.
