The natural phenomenon "Stone Forest", located north and south of the Beloslav Lake, consists of Eocene sand exposures among which stand erect stone columns resembling a stone forest. The impressive landscape can be observed in seven large and several smaller exposures. The most famous is the "Center-South" group, located 18 km west of Varna.
